Business Development Strategist

We are looking for a Corporate Business Development Strategist to drive new business acquisition and revenue growth through strategic outbound sales efforts. This role is designed for a results-driven sales professional who thrives on engaging decision-makers, developing high-value opportunities, and contributing to long-term business expansion.

In this role, you will focus on executing and refining outbound prospecting strategies to create a strong pipeline of BD-qualified leads (BDQLs). You will receive training, coaching, and support from leadership to maximize success and continuously improve sales performance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Outbound Sales & Lead Generation

  • Execute targeted cold calling, email outreach, and follow-up strategies to engage decision-makers and open new business opportunities.
  • Develop and refine high-converting messaging strategies to maximize engagement and response rates.
  • Identify and qualify potential clients based on business needs, budget, and decision-making authority.

2. Pipeline Development & Qualification

  • Conduct structured discovery calls to assess client needs and fit.
  • Maintain an active pipeline of sales-qualified leads (SQLs) that align with company revenue goals.
  • Work closely with leadership to refine targeting and lead conversion strategies.

3. Sales Performance & Execution

  • Consistently generate SQLs that meet quality standards and conversion benchmarks.
  • Optimize outreach efforts using data-driven insights and sales feedback.
  • Receive ongoing training and coaching to enhance prospecting and conversion techniques.

4. Data Management & Reporting

  • Ensure CRM records are accurate and up to date, logging all outreach activities and follow-ups.
  • Track and report on pipeline health, lead conversion rates, and sales impact.
  • Use analytics to refine outreach strategies and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or prospecting, preferably in B2B, outsourcing, SaaS, or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of pipeline management and lead conversion best practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage high-level decision-makers.
  • Experience using CRMs and sales engagement tools for tracking and optimizing prospecting efforts
  • Resilient, coachable, and results-driven, with the ability to adapt and improve strategies based on performance data.
  • Experience working with US or international clients is a plus.
